Preparation Tips
Expert advice for success in SLMLE
Start Early
Begin your preparation at least 6 months before the exam. Cramming is not effective for medical examinations. Create a study schedule and stick to it consistently.
Focus on Basics
Strong foundation in basic sciences is crucial. Many clinical questions require understanding of underlying pathophysiology, anatomy, and biochemistry.
Practice Daily
Solve MCQs every day. Practice tests help you understand the exam pattern, manage time, and identify weak areas that need more attention.
Review Mistakes
Don't just memorize answers. Understand why an answer is correct. Review explanations thoroughly and relate them to clinical scenarios.
Time Management
With 200 questions in 3.5 hours, you have about 1 minute per question. Practice with timed tests to improve your speed and accuracy.
Stay Healthy
Take care of your physical and mental health. Get adequate sleep, exercise regularly, and take breaks to avoid burnout during preparation.
